The Mendis Mania is the biggest challenge for the Indians to answer forget the past or even the recently concluded test series. You take away those 30 wickets and things would have been different for the Indians-indeed they could have managed a positive result. The big challenge is to destroy the mystery bowler. If test cricket was a big ask, the great of Indian ODI team should target him specifically to indent his confidence or else we are doomed again.

Easier said than done, isn\’t it? If the big four of the Indian Test order could not negate the threat, and the fresh blood do a better job, the way for the Test line up should be apparent. Harsh or in the team\’s best interests, time will decide.
